Lesage

Marion (1958). French designer. Her father is Franµois Lesage, owner of the famous embroidery maison; her mother has designed for Griffe and Cardin. After high school, she attended Studio Berµot in Paris and in 1979 was hired as a designer by BenoÑt Bartherotte for the maison Estérel. In 1985 she created a line of jewelry of her own. In 1988, at the age of 30, she set up her own maison in partnership with Bartherotte and designed her first collection. Management problems forced her to close in 1992, but the company Jacques Garella immediately invested in a new brand of hers called Indies. In 1999 she opened a boutique in Rue du Près Au Clair, Paris, where her articles are inspired by travel.
