A department store in Paris, opened in 1824 by Pierre Parissot on the Quai aux Fleurs.
Thirty years later it occupied 25 buildings in the Ile de la Cité.
La Belle Jardinière
In 1864 the municipality of Paris decided to appropriate the site to build the hospital Hotel-de-Dieu. In 1866, La B.J. reopened on the other side of the Seine, in Rue du Pont Neuf.
