Il Cavaliere Azzurro

Archive composed of 750 volumes and 420 textile samples of ties, clothing, and interior decor. Its name was thought up by Stefania Farné with reference to the artistic movement founded in 1912 by Kandinskij and Marc. Farné put together the collection, searching through old catalogues, collections, and private libraries as well as among the rags of the textile industry stores, which took her to Como, the home of silk and ties. The archive, which starts from 1800 up until the end of the 1900s, is also a working laboratory to which designers and producers turn for research.
