Ortiz

Cristina Ortiz (1952). Spanish designer. After a diploma from the Paris École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute couture in 1986, she worked for the Spanish department store El Corte Inglés. Following this, she worked with Enrica Massei and San Lorenzo. In 1994 she arrived in Milan to begin her job as head designer for Prada’s women’s division. In November 1997 she becomes Maison Lanvin‘s official designer, creating elegant and minimal, but wearable collections.
2002, Summer. She left Maison Lanvin to be replaced by Albert Elbaz.
