Igedo Company

German exhibition organising company. Its president is Manfred Kronen. The company organizes several fairs and international events. The most significant event is Cpd woman.man. Held in Duesseldorf twice a year, in February and August, it is the largest and most complete European event about fashion. At the beginning, the event was created to only support womenswear. In 2002 it expanded to include menswear, swimwear, and underwear (previously hosted in a separate location). After which there was also an area for jeans and streetwear and another for the fabrics of the following season. In January 2003 Revolutions, a window for trendy young fashion with emerging or cult brands, was born. In September 2003 an exhibition was scheduled in Moscow called Collections Premieren Moscow, which would replace the Moda Moscow. In 1989 Igedo Company created the European Fashion Diamond award given to companies and personalities, which had distinguished themselves in management and performance. On August 3, 2002, the award was given to Umberto Angeloni for the Roman men’s tailor boutique Brioni, renowned for its tailoring garments, which had been enjoying a tradition of high artisan’s skill for half a century.
