House of Jazz

English fashion brand. After studying at Middlesex University and spending time as Matthew Williamson’s assistant, Hazel Robinson met Pablo Flack, the manager of the renowned 333 Club in London, a colorful character with an entrepreneurial spirit who abandoned his studies at the London School of Economics to rent a pub in Shoreditch, transforming it into a meeting point for designers. Robinson designed a sponge headband as a promotional freebie for the club’s clients. The success was immediate and Robinson and Flack launched a Collection together in 2000. Their knowledge of what the cult object for the next season would be as well as their ability to not take themselves or fashion too seriously made them irresistible. The super-stylist Katie Grand is their creative consultant. They won financial awards to sponsor their exhibitions for two consecutive years. Their list of clients mirrors a rare capacity to create trends — one of their main clients is Browns in London.
