Ghost

English brand of ready-to-wear. It was launched in 1984 in London by Tanya Sarne (1940). A graduate in history and psychology, after joining the world of fashion as a model, she imported alpaca sweaters from Peru. She had already been successful with a sportswear griffe called Miz. She has been nominated more than once to be British Designer of the Year and in 1992 her brand received the British Apparel Export Award. Her Collections are all manufactured with original fabrics (including a particular type of viscose) and with the yarn-dyeing technique.
