Fujii

Hideki (1934). Japanese photographer. He became interested in photography as a student. After an initial period in which he was self-taught, he became an assistant to Shotato Akiyama. He began his career as a fashion photographer for a company in Tokyo and for various magazines, in particular Fuzuko. Since 1967, he has diversified his interests, working for the Nikon Design Center in Tokyo and carrying out personal research on traditional printing techniques and on the relationship between painting and photography. He continues to work as a freelancer in the field of fashion, working in particular with Max Factor on a famous TV series with the model Hiromi Oka.
