Flanders Flax

Fabric made from very precious linen fiber, coming specifically from Flanders, but also manufactured in cotton. The surface is characterized by irregular gatherings. Manufactured on jacquard looms, in classic geometric and floral patterns, it was originally used only for table and bath linens. Today, this fabric is also used in clothing. It was used by Ken Scott in the late 1960s in lively and brilliant colors such as apple green, shocking pink, and porcelain blue for men’s shirts and wide ties.
