Enriquez

Rachele Enriquez (1938). Journalist. From 1989 to 1995 she was editor-in-chief at Vogue Spain. She started her career in the 1960s as an editor at Annabella. She left in order to participate, as managing editor, in the adventure of the Milan weekly Il Milanese. The enterprise was a precarious one, despite the efforts and talents of a director such as Angelo Rozzoni, a main figure in the best years of Il Giorno. Lamberto Sechi hired her at Panorama where, as editor of culture and entertainment, she would work for 16 years, until she was offered the chance to manage Vogue Spain in Madrid. She returned to Italy as deputy manager of the monthly Carnet. Since 1998 she has been editorial consultant for Sette, the weekly magazine of Corriere della Sera, a position for which she was hired by Andrea Monti and in which she continues to work with Maria Luisa Agnese, the present director.
