BIOGRAPHY
Elsa Anna Sophie Hosk is a model of Finnish and Swedish descent. In fact, her mother Marja is Finnish, while her father Pål is Swedish. Elsa was born in Stockholm on November 7, 1988. As a child she played basketball in the Swedish women’s national team.
CAREER
Her career as a model starts by chance. In 2005, Elsa appears in the music video Who’s That Girl by singer Darin, and Pål decides to send photos of Elsa and her two brothers to various fashion agencies.
Elsa is obviously contacted and starts working for big houses such as: Ungaro , D&G, Guess? , Blumarine , Alessandro Dell’Acqua , Dior , Carolina Herrera , Oscar de la Renta , Levi’s , Guy Laroche . In addition, she appears on the covers of many magazines: Elle , Cosmopolitan , Madame Figaro .

In 2011, Elsa participated in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and soon became the testimonial of the young and sporty line of the brand: PINK.
From 2015 to 2020, Elsa is one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels, the highest role a model can aspire to within the American lingerie brand.
In 2016, Hosk appears on the cover of the Victoria’s Secret swimwear catalog.
In the same year she took part in the famous commercial made by Victoria’s Secret for the Superbowl. The ad recreated a football match and, in addition to Hosk, featured: Adriana Lima, Taylor Hill, Alessandra Ambrosio and Kasmine Tookes.
Also, that year, the brand’s show opens.
The following year Victoria’s Secret creates a capsule collection in collaboration with Swarovski , and Elsa is the chosen one to be the ambassador to the collection: she wears a red underwear set completed by long sleeves and wings on which 275,000 Swarovski crystals of 29 different colors and models are set .
The wings draw their inspiration from those of traditional Chinese dragons and reach a weight of over 6 kilograms.
Also in 2017, Elsa appears in the video of singer Justin Bieber ft. DJ David Guetta, 2U, along with five other Victoria’s Secret models.
In 2018, Elsa was chosen to wear one of the famous Fantasy Bra , unique bras by Victoria’s Secret and identifying the brand, composed of precious stones. HELSA STUDIO
In 2022, Elsa Hosk launches her own brand: Helsastudio .
It is a brand that takes inspiration from Scandinavian culture. As the model herself says:
” It is an ode to the values I grew up with in Sweden and an effort to communicate these values to future generations, young women with a sustainable mindset and their families .”
The brand finds its identity in elements such as simplicity, comfort and minimalism. It wants to be environmentally sustainable and suitable for everyone. It has the intent to show love for the family and for the Earth. Everything is organized starting from what is essential for the model, and now also the designer, Swedish:
