Career

She began her career as a sculptor and entered the world of fashion by creating models for her sculptures. Discovered by the gallery owner Holly Solomon, a protagonist of New York art, she launched the first collection in 1996. Her imagination has no limits, holes, tears, edges finished with the flame of a candle, burnt fabrics and fabrics washed in tea and spices that take the shape of the body and capture the imagination of the wearer.

Each dress is a unique piece, a game without apparent balance of geometric shapes and colours made with precious and non-precious fabrics. In three years, Elisa conquered the world of fashion and Hollywood. Her clothes, which can only be purchased through the Solomon gallery (as real pieces of art) or in her Manhattan showroom, are worn by all the biggest stars of cinema and music.

Her drawings appeared on the pages of Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Dutch, Black Book, aper Mag, Jane and Trace .
