Deutsches Textilmuseum

Krefeld, Germany. Opened in 1975, it includes the royal Collection of Mannheim fabrics, the fabric Collection of the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum of Krefeld, and a group of fabrics and garments manufactured by artists belonging to the German Secession movement. There are more than 25,000 pieces from all over the world and from every era. The clothing is mainly from the 20th century. There is a very advanced research and restoration center.
