Amos (1929). He became secretary of the Rome Center of High Fashion in 1961 and, for 10 years, was also secretary of the National Chamber of Fashion, which he helped to found. He was head of the Italian Institute of Fashion, an old organization for which the state appropriated funds in order to help restart its activities, with a particular desire to coordinate the efforts of the various businesses and organizations in the fashion industry. The national manager of a political party, the Christian Democrats, during the 1950s, he was for 13 years the special secretary to Tupini, who he followed on his journey through the various ministries. He became interested in the politics of fashion on the invitation of Emilio Colombo, who was at the time Minister of Industry. In the 1980s he left most of his positions (although he remained on the Lanerossi board of directors) to devote himself to publishing and advertising.
