Capdevilla

Massana Manuel (1910). Spanish jeweler and painter. Born in Barcelona, he continued the tradition of his father Joaquim when, in the 1950s, he inherited the jewellery and silver shop that had been opened in 1918. The main features of his creations are often non-precious materials which, thanks to the artist’s genius, are ennobled and exalted by their material and chromatic qualities. In order to devote himself completely to painting, some years ago he entrusted the company’s management to his own son Joaquim.
