Brocade

Brocade is a precious fabric that dates to the 15^th century, processed on a jacquard loom and relief-embroidered with gold and silver threads. Used first in furnishings, starting in the second half of the 1800s it was very successful in fashion and used to manufacture clothes, cloaks, tunics, and trousers for elegant evening outfits.
