BRAND TIMELINE

The brand was founded by Paolo Boggi in 1939, with the opening of the first shop in Monza. In 1966, after having also launched the brand’s first collection, he arrived in Milan by opening the well-known San Babila store. Consequently, the brand went international by opening its first shop across the border, in Geneva, which still exists today.

In 2002, Milanese group Fin. part took 90% of the company for 8.65 million euros, while its founder Paolo Boggi retained 10% of the capital. Only a year later, Boggi changed hands again and was acquired by the brothers Carlo, Claudio, and Roberto Zaccardi. Members of the same family that owns the Brian and Barry Italian department stores. Significantly, marking a historic turning point for the brand, with a first-rate repositioning on the international scene.

Since 2009, the brand has begun an expansion process by opening over 100 stores in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Russia, and South America.

Boggi Milano has 190 stores in almost 38 countries around the world, also counting several franchised stores.

In 2016, the company created the Boggi Milano Academy, a real internal academy, aiming to train new resources and thus always being updated on the changes in the global panorama.
