Biani

Alberto (1953). Italian designer. Since 1979 he has designed the women’s Collection New York Industrie. A Venetian born in Noventa Vicentina, in 1984 he established Staff International, a house that produced Collections for men and women. The 1996 was a turning point, with the birth of the Alberto Biani griffe, presented in Milan, and the opening of his first boutique, also in Milan. The first Collection produced by him and not by Staff International was in Autumn-Winter 1999. His concept of modern tailoring was a success: a strong image for garments which, from a stylistic point of view, must have a life that is longer than the pursuit of short-term ideas and styles.
After eight years, he again designs for New York Industrie, the brand created by him and later sold to McAdams by Staff International.
