Best Company

Italian brand of prêt-à-porter. It was established in the 1970s thanks to an idea of the designer Olmes Carretti, who wished to bring products made of brushed fabrics into the domestic market. At first it manufactured only men’s wear. Then it expanded to include women’s prêt-à-porter, children’s wear, and a total look that embraced school diaries, note books, shoes, and perfumes. After various difficulties, the brand returned to the Fin.part group which then relaunched it.
Cisalfa, already the brand’s exclusive distributor for a couple of years, acquires it from the Milanese holding company Fin.part. The negotiation, started in mid 2001, closes with an expenditure of €2.91 million. Cisalfa plans a decisive relaunch of the brand.
