Berenson

Marisa Berenson (1948) was a british model. She had a great first career as a model (with a début at age 6 on the cover of Elle) and a current one as an actress. Niece of Elsa Schiaparelli and grandniece of Bernard Berenson, the famous art critic, she was discovered and launched by the most powerful muse in fashion, Diana Vreeland. Growing up in comfort and with celebrity thanks to her family, she had a sad childhood in boarding schools, including Poggio Imperiale in Florence, and wore a corrective corset for her back. She had a series of famous love affairs, and in 1976 she married the American billionaire Jim Randall, with whom she had a daughter, Starlite Melody. Later she married the lawyer Aaron Richard Golab. Her most well-known films are Death in Venice, Cabaret, Barry Lindon and Prêt-à-porter.
