BCBG

BCBG was an american manufacturer of women’s clothing and accessories, founded by Max Azria in 1989. In 1981, after 11 years of experience in the field, the Parisian designer and entrepreneur moved to the U.S. in order to launch Jess, a chain of French boutiques for the American woman. The success of the initiative pushed Azria to open a fashion house that combined a sophisticated European style with an American spirit. It was the birth of BCBG. In a mode of continuous expansion, the brand has 140 points-of-sale throughout the world, with 80 of them in the U.S. In 1998 Azria acquired the French maison Hervr. In 2000 he formed a strategic partnership with Procter & Gamble in order to revitalize Giorgio Beverly Hills, the historic boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. In 2001 he launched the “Giovane” Collection of perfumes and accessories.
