Ricardo (1955). Brazilian tailor. His father had a thriving business in linens while he grew up with the exciting social and night life of São Paulo, dividing his time between motorbike racing and his job as shop assistant in a shirt store. He joined a contract manufacturer that produced several brands and then in 1994 opened his first shop. Then came his own Collections at the São Paulo Fashion Week. He specializes in men’s wear with a classic style, with quality workmanship and fine fabrics, always keeping a careful eye on the European griffes. Among his clients are important figures in show business and politics, such as the president, Lula da Silva. In 2003 he launched RA Sports, a line of casualwear.
