Alba

(Alba Armillei, 1934). Roman hairdresser known for elaborate hairstyles and chignons decorated with flowers and feathers. Since 1964 her salon has been in via Condotti, but she also became well known in Porto Rotondo where, at the beginning of the 1970s, during the most fashionable years of the village built by Nicolò and Luigino Donà dalle Rose on the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia, she opened a beauty salon with her sister Francesca. For eleven years, from 1967 to 1981, Alba worked on the presentation of Collections by Irene Galitzine, Emilio Pucci, and Valentino. During the 1980s and 1990s she worked as a designer of haute couture in partnership with her son.
