Angel (1958). Spanish designer. He entered the fashion world in 1983 as a result of his collaboration with the designer Juan Rufete. His first menswear ready-to-wear collection was produced for Fall-Winter 1984-1985 and in 1988 he presents his womenswear ready-to-wear collection for Spring-Summer 1989 on the Cibeles runways. In the years that followed, he alternated showing his designs in Barcelona and Madrid. He won a number of prizes (among them, the Vidal Sassoon, the Lancia Vanidad and several times over the magazine Telva’s T for best Spanish designer). He also designs clothes for films and international events like the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. With Amaya Arzuaga in 2001, he accompanied the country’s president José Maria Aznar on an official trip to Mexico, where they presented their collections at a fashion show.
