Richardson

Bob (1928). American photographer. He debuted as an illustrator fashion designer, taking interest only later on in photography, with spectacular results right from the beginning. In fact, his first layouts were published by Harper’s Bazaar. The most fertile period was the 1960s, when he worked with the great art director Alexej Brodovitch. He lived in Paris, worked frequently for Valentino and published his photographs in the French, American, and Italian editions of Vogue. There is a clear influence in his work of the atmospheres of the most classic cinema, from John Ford to Luchino Visconti.
