PHILLIP LIM, AMERICAN FASHION DESIGNER

Phillip Lim is an American fashion designer of Chinese origins. He made his debut in New York in 2005 with the homonymous brand, born from his friendship with Wen Zhou. The soul of the brand consists in offering a cool, easy and chic wardrobe.

In 2007 he was awarded as an emerging talent by the Council of Fashion Designers of America for his work as creative director of the 3.1 Phillip Lim line. Combining different styles, from casual to elegant, he presents romantic dresses, often in soft colors and with some particular detail that makes classic and affordable clothes special.

The brand carried out several projects: Shop Sustainable, The 0.4 Capsule Collection, Doing Something About It and Doing Something About It, Episode 2.

In 2012 he won the Council’s Swarovski Award for Menswear and the Award for Accessories Designer of the Year in 2013.
