Péro means ‘to wear’ in Marwari, the language of Rajasthan. The collections, for men, women, and children, were born in 2009, through an India-Italy axis. They are inspired by traditional clothes and local craftsmanship, but to create a modern wardrobe. The spirit of India is present through the “handmade”, craftsmanship that passes from area to area and then merges into a collection that speaks of many local realities but which is made up of unique pieces and can be worn indifferently in Paris like in London or Bombay. Over the past 10 years, Péro has worked in close collaboration with more than 1000 weavers from Gujarat to Kerala and presented its collections at Pitti Uomo and Pitti Bimbo.
