Palace

Palace, the streetwear brand born from the passion of a group of boys for skating

Palace is a streetwear brand for skating founded in 2009 by Lev Tanju. Palace’s story is not that of a classic brand, its origins lead us back to a group of boys born in the London suburbs, United by a passion for skateboarding and who recognized their leader in Lev Tanju. Lev, with an English mother, a Turkish father and a footballer career, usually spent most of his hours skateboarding until the age of 26, when he decided to found his brand and share his passion and aesthetic taste with the rest of the world. It was 2009 and Palace was born.

It was defined ” The British Supreme ” by the New York Times in 2017. Palace earned its name in the streetwear panorama with its acid-house graphics and the continuous references to a not too distant past. Its triangular logo made by the illustrator Fergus Purcell, was proudly worn by celebrities but also by young people all over the world.

A melting pot of inspirations drawn from London’s underground culture, punk music, streetwear, the world of football and the universe of food. Products released through the famous drop mechanism, which, in Palace’s case, usually occur on Friday. The items are presented in the e-commerce with iconic descriptions which fully enclose the spirit of the brand based in London.
