Museo dello Scarpone e della Calzatura Sportiva

Montebelluna (near Treviso, Italy). Founded in 1984, this museum is situated in the sixteenth-century Villa Zuccareda Binetti. Since 1992 it has been managed by a foundation made up of the principal local producers of sporting footwear as well as confederations of artisans. The collections comprise more than 2,000 pieces and tell the story of the most important local industry; the production of sports shoes and boots. Amongst the material that has been collected are patent archives, prototypes, catalogues, photographs and magazines.
