Morton

Digby (1906-1983). Irish designer, active from 1928 to 1957. At the age of 22, having just completed his studies in art and architecture, he was taken on by Lachasse. He stayed there only till 1933, when he decided to open his own workshop which, after the war, produced mainly for the ready-made clothing industry. His skill was to transform the traditional cuts of tailoring, making them softer, adapting them to his styles, and using unusual materials.
