MicMac

French brand with two eminent godfathers: the German playboy (one-time fiancé of Brigitte Bardot) Gunther Sachs, who wanted to invest in the fashion world, and the writer Franµoise Sagan, who invented the brand’s name. The designer is Tan Guidicelli (formerly of Dior, Ricci, Heim, and Chloé), who combines French chic and American informality. MicMac offered a style that is popular with a sophisticated international clientele in search of jeans, cardigans, T-“shirts, and shirts for men and women, a little different from the rest. At the end of the 1970s (in 1974, Guidicelli began to work on his own) the brand disappeared.
