Meunier

Sébastien (1974). French designer. At only 21, he won a design competition initiated by the American company Mattel, a games manufacturer, which awarded first and second prizes to his new look Barbie, which was produced commercially in the United States the following year. In 1997, he obtained the Esmod diploma and received the Buste d’Or award as a designer and pattern-maker for menswear. The following year he was selected for the salon Who’s Next in Paris and won the Prix Homme at the Hyères festival. During the same period, he also presented his first collection but his first runway show at the Paris menswear fashion week did not come until 1999.
