Menoni

Kicca (1956). Italian journalist. From 2002, she has been the editor of D-la Repubblica delle Donne. Originally from Milan, with a degree in architecture from the Polytechnic and a specialism in urban planning from the University of Venice, she began her career on the editorial team of Casabella, a longstanding magazine covering architecture and design, under the editorship of Alessandro Mendini. In 1974 she took over the direction of Vogue Bambini and worked for Lei,published by Condé Nast Italia. Pragmatic and modern in her view of fashion and interested in a different way of living, she joined Mondadori in 1980 with the task of transforming the magazine Cento Cose from a DIY monthly to a fashion and costume publication, for a young, evolving readership. In 1985, Mondadori also assigned her the responsibility of Linea Italiana and Linea Uomo, both very demanding monthlies given that they were in direct competition with those published by Condé Nast. In 1990, she relaunched Cento Cose, renaming it Cento Cose Energy, dedicated to beauty, sport and fitness. Since 1994, she has directed Marie Claire.
