Leyendecker

Joseph (1874-1951). American illustrator. Through the advertising for the shirtswear company Arrow he expressed the image of the typical young American man. Leyendecker was born in Germany, but emigrated to the United States, where he designed several covers for the Saturday Evening Post and Collier’s Weekly in the early years of the 20^th century.
