Leroy

Veronique (1965). Belgian designer. A young talent. She studied at the Studio Berµot in Paris. Later she became the assistant of Didier Renard, Alaïa, and Martine Sitbon. She opened her own atelier in the Parisian neighborhood of La Bastille. She defines her style “ultra sexy normal,” and typical elements of it are humor, Barbie-style hairdos, fake cowboy boots, and very strident synthetic colors. She made her début in 1991. More than once she has been awarded the Canette d’Or, Courtelle, and Venus de la Mode for Le Futur Grand Créateur.
