Kumagai

Tokio (1947-1990). Shoe designer. In 1970 he graduated from the Bunka Fakuso Gakuen and moved to France, where he worked for Castelbajac. He also worked for Fiorucci in Italy, before opening his own boutique in Paris, where he sold his own hand-painted shoes, inspired by surrealism, Kandinsky and Pollock. He died young.
