Jodhpurs

Horse-riding pants for ladies, inflated on the thighs and tight along the calves. They were created in the early 1900s, taking their name from the town in Rajastan, India, where they worn by the locals on an everyday basis. They were brought to Europe by the British because they were worn by the British cavalry at the time of their rule. In 1970 they returned to fashion Collections, reproposed, reinterpreted, and modified by the various designers.
