Jäneke company of combs and brushes

Jäneke, a brand of hair accessories and bags of German origin, with headquarters and factory in Veduggio, Brianza. The company, still managed by the family, takes its name from the founder Giorgio Jäneke who, in 1830, left Hamburg for Milan, where he launched a factory of combs and accessories in turtle and ivory: he was the first in Italy to produce them by mechanical processing. At the beginning of the ‘900, the sons moved the business to Veduggio.

After the Second World War, machinery for the production of combs from plastic plates and for injection molding arrived. The process of modernization and technological innovation is still a distinctive feature of this brand that produces in addition to brushes, also travel bags and bags, with exports all over the world.
