Hettemarks Italiana

Clothing company. Established in Bari in 1959 by the Swedish family, Hettemarks. The company was one of the most important in this sector in the 1960s. In the mid 1980s it employed about 800 people, mostly women. It manufactured the brands Mammi, Sprint, Linea 4, and Harrison’s, as well as a women’s line designed by Enrica Massei. The company was in receivership since 1976, although it was rescued for a short time thanks to the intervention of Gepi, it later closed.
