Gypsy

Jules-Franµois Crahay launched a gypsy style Collection in 1959. In the early 1970s Thea Porter and Caroline Charles created a series of clothes and a two-piece suit, taking inspiration from the traditional gypsy costumes. It is a style characterized by particularly large skirts, which allow a quick swaying, and by blouses, often elasticized, which leave the shoulders bare, usually manufactured in light fabrics of brilliant colors. The main characteristic of the gypsy style is the presence of a scarf knotted around the neck or the hips.
