Wool factory established in 1815 in Mongrando di Biella. It belongs to the Marzotto group. Recently the company has attained international leadership in the sectors of Saxony, combed flannels, cashmeres, and supers 100, 120, and 150s up to the exclusive super 180s, weighing only 200 g per linear meter, obtained from a yarn count of 2-150,000. A young technical and creative staff tests unusual solutions such as the cashmere-yak blend, created from cashmere and New Zealand wool of 17 microns. Among the precious materials, recent introductions have been vicuna and guanaco, Cites certified, which guarantees legal shearing that does not harm the animals.
