Gottex Swimwear

Brand of swimsuits. The swimsuits are the favorites of Madonna. Sophisticated materials and trendy colors are used for one pieces and bikinis. The original name of the company was Gottex of Israel, whose main offices have been in Israel since the 1950s when the Hungarian owners Lia Gottlieb and Armin Ruzow were forced to move out. In the 1960s, their daughter, Miriam Ruzow, decided to expand the business into the United States and to open a branch office in New York. The brand has a high fashion content. In the late 1990s the company was acquired by the billionaire Lev Leviev who, being an ultra-orthodox Jew, decided to forbid access to the exhibitions for men.
