French Connection

English group founded in 1969 by Stephen Marks, a leader of minimalist style and clothing in England, and by the griffe Nicole Farhi. It expanded its women’s clothing lines to include men’s and children’s. In England, it has 60 points-of-sale, besides the large store on Oxford Street in London. Famous and successful all over the world, the group has opened 150 single-brand shops in 23 countries. In 2002, it had a turnover of 225 million, equal to €337 million. In June 2003, it was present at Pitti Immagine with the allusive brand Fcuk (acronym of French Connection and United Kingdom) and at Milano Moda Uomo (Superstudio) with the youth line by Nicole Farhi.
