Filatura di Chiavazza Company specialized in the manufacture of precious yarns made from noble fibers

Filatura di Chiavazza Company specialized in the manufacture of precious yarns made from noble fibers, mostly cashmere. Established in 1927 in Vigliano Biellese by Giacomo Borsetti, it started as a complete cycle carded spinning mill. The current production includes both very refined and ultra thin pure Pashmina yarns, and mixed yarns composed of camel, angora, mohair, silk, and baby merino. These spun yarns, either raw or stock dyed, are meant for knitwear, woven goods, and jersey. The structure of the company also allows for some items to be shipped from stock. Today, the company is led by the founder’s grandchildren, Alberto and Piergiacomo Borsetti.
