Etzdorf

Etzdorf (von) Georgina (1955). Fabric designer, born in Lima, Peru. In 1981, she established, along with two business partners, Martin Simcock and Jonathan Docherty, a company under her own name, producing highly decorative fabrics for fashion, ready-to wear, high fashion, and accessories.
Georgina works with engineering students at Southampton University and with students at the Winchester School of Art to create scarves, bags and jewellery with luminescent materials such as phosphorus and light-emitting-diodes (LED). The collection, on which the English designer Anya Hindmarch also works, is called Nocturnalis and launched on the market.
The designer, who lives in Salisbury, is among 40 names in English fashion invited to the Fashion Coterie, the annual New York event in the field.
Etzdorf’s clothing and accessories for fashion and the home are on sale at more than 300 points-of-sale in 20 countries and at the company’s single-brand store in the Burlington Arcade in London.
