Edward

Green Brand of shoes named after the artisan who in 1891 started to produce hand-made shoes for English gentlemen in a small factory in Northampton. In short, he made himself famous as a master shoemaker capable of producing the best shoes in England. Today, that standard of quality is still present in the shoes manufactured by Edward Green; one pair of hand-made shoes requires several weeks of work. In 1983, the company was acquired by John Hlustik, who continued the manufacture of high quality products characterized by classic Goodyear soles, leather uppers made in Italy, and calfskin linings.
More than 110 years after its founding, at its boutique in Burlington Arcade in London, Edward Green remains faithful to the tradition of its four models, the Oxford, Derby, Casual, and Monk.
