Hélène (1887-1934). American designer. Her style was influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites, the symbolism of Beardsley, and Japanese calligraphy. She was a follower of Art Nouveau. She was at the peak of her fame during the 1920s when drawing covers for the American edition of Vogue.
