Dorys

Benedikt Jerzy (1901-1990). Polish photographer. A classic example of professional versatility. He was interested in all the aspects of his profession. He started taking pictures when still very young, but only turned it into a real career in 1925. His fame is linked to his talent as a portraitist in his studio in Vienna, and the refinement in his study of processes such as bi-chromed rubber. Over the course of his career he was interested in reportages, landscapes, architecture, and fashion photography.
