Dinnigan

Colette Dinnigan. Australian designer. She made her début in 1990. Two years later, she opened her first boutique in Sidney, and in 1995 opened another in Melbourne. In that year, she was the first Australian designer accepted as a member of the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt-à-porter in Paris. In October 1996, she presented her Collection at the Hotel Crillon in Paris and was brought to the attention of the international press. Her fashion plays on sensuality and transparencies: very light silks and chiffons, in an evocation of haute couture, that of Paquin in particular.
