Die Dame

German fashion monthly published between 1912 and 1943 by Ullstein-Verlag of Berlin. It succeeded the magazine Illustrierte Frauen-Zeitung, first issued in 1874. It was the first German fashion magazine to publish photographs in combination with drawings and sketches. It carefully followed cultural events, recalled great historical moments, and ran articles written by the most prestigious names of the time, including the novelist Stefan Zweig.
